The new wellness space at Altamarea has been inaugurated, led by Caterina, Nadia, and Massimiliano, certified professionals in holistic disciplines and Ayurvedic treatments. The center is named Shakti, like the mat used in yoga, a place to restore balance and serenity.
The use of essential and natural oils completes the treatment, helping the body address imbalances caused by poor posture, stress, and dietary habits in need of improvement.
“Often, it is nature itself that provides the recipe for our well-being”, explains Caterina during the presentation of the center.
“What matters is learning to listen to the body's needs and pay attention to the warning signs it sends through discomfort, signs that Ayurvedic and natural medicine help to heal.”
Some examples of treatments: Ayurvedic lymphatic drainage, pranic massage, localized treatments, massage for pregnant women, and foot reflexology.
Caterina and Nadia are available to Altamarea guests every day from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, in the space located opposite the reading and relaxation room
Altamarea is divided into three zones, each offering different services:
- YELLOW RECEPTION, for families with children:
Miniclub, changing table, nursery, shaded and fenced playground with staff supervision, creative workshop, internet point.
- ORANGE RECEPTION, for those seeking wellness and relaxation:
Wellness oasis, hydromassage tubs, massages, chromotherapy, but also a dance floor and entertainment.
- RED RECEPTION, for young people and all sports enthusiasts:
Gym, swimming pool, beach volleyball, basketball, five-a-side football, bocce courts, ping-pong.
Three bar-restaurants with panoramic terraces offer food and wine specialties inspired by Romagna's culinary tradition, including grilled Adriatic fish, piadina, and Sangiovese wine.

A large swimming pool on the beach
Dive into the swimming pool, where the water is always blue. In the biggest swimming pool on Cattolica's Beach, fun is assured for young and old alike.
Small Jacuzzi pools - a wellness oasis
For complete relaxation immerse yourself in the jacuzzi baths, with water sprays, abandon yourself to the welcoming embrace of the wellness oasis or the beauty centre areas.
Beach volleyball, basketball
If your holiday isn't only about relaxation, you can take part in our Beach volleyball, 5-a-side and basketball competitions.
Kids game-park

Guests of the village are free to take books and read them comfortably inside the gazebo, or take them on their sunbeds under the ombrellas in the sand.
Job Wheelchair and Special Loungers
The Altamarea Beach Village has completely removed architectural barriers for guests with disabilities.
Access to the pool, gym, and wellness center is facilitated by a ramp that makes the path easier, while the two handicap-accessible toilets and showers are step-free.
The walkway leading to the sea has a surface that allows wheelchair users to reach their umbrella without stepping onto the sand. The path leads to the shoreline while keeping a 3-meter-wide passage from the water free, in compliance with the Regional Beach Ordinance.
A JOB wheelchair and a JOB amphibious chair allow guests to stroll along the water’s edge or enjoy a therapeutic swim. For those who prefer to rest under the umbrella, elevated sunbeds are provided to facilitate transfers from the wheelchair.
