The Beach of a Thousand Faces
I stroll through Altamarea on a beautiful, scorching summer afternoon. The sun is high in the sky, and I can feel its rays on my skin, even though I’m covered in sunscreen. The sea is full of people! Children playing with a ball, a young girl daring a nap on a giant crocodile-shaped float, a group of three women chatting as they walk through the water, a man I stroll through Altamarea on a beautiful, scorching summer afternoon. The sun is high in the sky, and I can feel its rays on my skin, even though I’m covered in sunscreen. The sea is full of people! Children playing with a ball, a young girl daring a nap on a giant crocodile-shaped float, a group of three women chatting as they walk through the water, a man swimming laps a bit farther out. Along the walkways, beach bags hang from parasols, and towels are draped over sun loungers. On the sand, children’s toys are scattered—tractors, cookie cutters, plastic buckets… A few books and magazines lie here and there.

I keep walking and am drawn by bursts of joyful, loud laughter echoing across the beach. I follow the sound to put faces to the voices, so naturally sharing their happiness. Unsurprisingly, I find myself at the bocce court. I love this playground-like atmosphere! There are the competitors, the jokers, the referees, the scorekeeper… A little farther on, in the small event square, the fitness class is in full swing, while behind the scenes, the staff is busy: one day preparing a dance session, the next organizing a card tournament, and another day, the baby talent show!
Passing by the bright orange reception desk, a new object on the counter catches my eye. A silver plaque shines delicately inside its navy-blue case. The Confcommercio of the Rimini province awarded it. The inscription reads:
“Riconoscimento a Altamarea Beach Village per il contributo allo sviluppo economico e sociale del territorio, eccellente testimonianza di professionalità, operosità e capacità imprenditoriale votata all’innovazione.”
A well-deserved recognition for this place, fruit of long and demanding work, and of ongoing reflection by the entire team to offer vacationers the best possible experience, all with a deeply committed outlook focused on the future and innovation.

This is exactly what makes Altamarea unique: it is a family-friendly, accessible, and socially engaged beach. In recent days, the Bau Beach has begun to take shape. This VIP space is reserved for holidaymakers with dogs, fully equipped with everything they need to care for them. And coming in 2025: the Bau Garden, a garden near Altamarea where dogs can run free! Everything has been designed to welcome dogs as ospiti speciali, special guests. Vacationers are truly pampered, but Altamarea certainly hasn’t forgotten its staff! The beach has received a certification for its commitment to gender equality, a further sign of its values and dedication to making a difference.
Maybe that’s what makes this beach so vibrant and so pleasant to explore. Behind the warm sand and the perfectly aligned parasols, there’s a team thinking of everything, nurturing collective well-being day after day.
