It stretches out on the sun loungers, hides behind the turquoise beach umbrellas, dances zumba every day and pushes, pushes the sun to keep it from setting in the evening, to gain a few extra minutes, to live a few more days at Altamarea Beach Village.

August clings to every day. It wants to convince everyone that summer isn’t about to end, because August is generous.

And at Altamarea Beach Village, August has good reasons to stay. Here, the days are full, with creative workshops in the morning, fitness, aperitif games, group dancing. The afternoon brings tournaments, the gym, the jacuzzi, swimming, pedal boats, gym dog at sunset with your feet in the water, and in the evening, a different show every day, cinema under the stars, live dancing, cabaret…

August knows it, sees it, feels it. And it doesn’t want to move on to September. I understand, August, I wouldn’t want to leave any of this behind either.

That’s what August does. It convinces you that you can stay a little longer. That it’s not time yet. That there’s still time, plenty of time!

Sometimes, guests extend their stay by a few days, and then I think “you did it, August, you managed to convince a family to stay two more days!” In that moment, you can almost see August on people’s faces.

Maybe August is right.

Because September at Altamarea is another chapter, different, beautiful. But that’s a thought for next week, already.
