BAU BEACH
An exclusive area with sun beds and beach umbrellas is available for guests wishing to keep their dog on the beach.
Dog sitter service is available by request.
According to public Health and City Orders of the Region Emilia-Romagna, dogs of small and medium size are allowed to stay on the beach, previous correct and not annoying behavior towards other dogs and guests of the Bau Beach.
Examples of small size dog breeds:
Affenpinscher, Dachshund, Small Poodle, Pug, Chihuahua, Welsh Corgi, Dandiegordon Dinmont, Fox-Terrier, Jack-Russell Terrier, Griffon, Yorkshire, Maltese, Pekinese, Italian Greyhound, Doberman Pinscher, miniature Schnauzer, Sealyham Terrier, Skye Terrier, Scottish Terrier, Spitz-Pomerian and similar.
Examples of medium size dog breeds:
Medium Poodle, Bassethound, Beagle, Bedlington, Chow-chow, Cirneco from Sicily, Cocker Spaniel, Epanieul, Griffon, Kerry Blue, medium Schnauzer, Hound dog, Irish Terrier and similar.
Examples of big size NOT ALLOWED dogs:
Airedale Terrier, Great Dane, Bloodhound, Boxer, Pointer, Dalmatian, Doberman, Bernese Mountain Dog, Labrador, Afghan hound, Russian Greyhound, Shepherd dog, Collie, Pointer, Riesenschnauzer, Rottweiler, Saint Bernard, Setter, Spinone and similar.
