This certification is a practical tool for driving cultural and structural change, helping to reduce existing gender gaps in the workplace in terms of representation, roles and responsibilities, as well as equal pay. This certification, issued by Istituto Giordano, monitors beach management services and recognises a management system that complies with the requirements of the UNI ISO 13009:2018 standardAs stated by Istituto Giordano: “The requirements and recommendations set out in this standard cover both aspects directly related to the services provided and the supporting processes designed to ensure the quality of the services enjoyed by guests, including, for example, cleaning and maintenance, communication, and customer satisfaction assessment.”<\/em><\/p>\n

According to their website: “Since 2021, Dog In Dog Out has been providing a turnkey service for hospitality businesses that want to position themselves as leaders in welcoming dogs. [\u2026]<\/span> It is no longer enough to say you are dog friendly; you need to truly be dog friendly through operational hospitality protocols, staff training, customer loyalty strategies and tailored structural improvements.”
\n<\/em>Altamarea Beach Village is the only Bau Beach resort in Cattolica where dogs are allowed to swim in the sea. Guests travelling with their dogs are welcomed in a safe and comfortable VIP area featuring beach umbrellas, sun loungers, a fresh water station, bowls and dog showers. Just a few metres from the beach is the Bau Garden, a shaded green space where dogs can run freely. We also developped a precious collaboration with the center “Io mi fido di te”, in Cattolica.<\/p>\n

On 7 May 2026, the prestigious Grand Hotel Excelsior Gallia in Milan hosted the gala evening celebrating the 300 beach establishments selected, reviewed and featured in the Guide to the Best Beach Clubs in Italy, published by Morellini Editore and curated by Andrea Guolo and Tiziana Di Masi. For the third consecutive year, Altamarea Beach Village in Cattolica has achieved another important milestone. For 2026, it received the Special Award from Audit People and Territori Sostenibili for projects promoting high quality tourism, recognising the resort’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and inclusivity.<\/p>\n
