The sun loungers are coming.

You’re at work, clicking, filing, folding, smiling, replying, waiting, clicking again.

You sigh.

When is summer finally coming? You close your eyes.

You feel it under your fingers, that unmistakable texture, slightly rough, slightly warm.

You know it straight away: it’s a sun lounger. You’re in your swimsuit, the sun is warming your shoulders, and you can hear the waves coming in and going out, coming in and going out.
