The Blue You Dream of in Winter

The Blue You Dream of in Winter

Even before you hear the Altamarea theme tune, even before you see the sea hiding behind the beach umbrellas.

Before anything else, when you arrive at Altamarea Beach Village, you see the colours.

Blue.

A bold, unmistakable blue, repeated from one beach umbrella to the next, like a turquoise sea blending into the sea itself, as far as the eye can see, towards the distant horizon. Hundreds and hundreds of beach umbrellas gently swaying in the wind, lined up throughout the season.

The blue of Altamarea Beach Village is not just a colour, it is part of its identity. So much so that you dream of turquoise during the winter.

And then, there is yellow, orange, red too.

The three reception areas of Altamarea, like three lighthouses guiding guests across the beach.

Colours you also find around your wrist.

You are a guest at Altamarea, you are part of this place, of this summer: you receive your wristband. There are also those who arrive with last year’s still around their wrist. A little worn, but still there. It has spent the whole winter with you, beneath your sweater, almost hidden. A thin wristband between you and the summer that has passed, waiting for the one that is coming.

And then there are them.

You see them from one end of the beach to the other. In their fluorescent uniforms, impossible to miss, even through ten rows of beach umbrellas. The entertainers, like a flash of colour that moves, runs, dances, announcing the day’s activities over the microphone across the whole beach. “People of Altamarea Beach Village! Good afternoon!”

With their colours, they bring energy from one corner of the beach to the other without ever really stopping. They are the promise of a full day ahead!

And when you start looking at the colours of the beach, you realise that every corner is defined by its own colour.

Altamarea Beach Village lives through colours.
And all the colours stay, all summer long. Even when September arrives, the beach is still full of life.

Even when a storm has just passed, like yesterday. The colours seem brighter.

Certainly, September does not switch off the colours of Altamarea.
